i don't think we al have or want to spend $500+ just for faster harddrive performance. especially when cooperman's and adek's boards already have extra ide solutions.Posted by Bob S
Go SCSI that's how I solve the lack of IDE and it is faster.
adek.. make sure your onboard raid is enabled and go into windows normally. look in device manager and see if it is detected and if there are any errors on it. if so, try getting the latest drivers for it. once it's fixed, then you can hook your harddrives up to it and it should work fine. let us know.
