hi - whenever i move any of my mp3 files from one folder to another they will never open again after being moved! this is really irritating as i can only keep files in one place all the time! when i try to open them i get "access denied-file already in use" - also they can't be deleted or have their attributes changed at all - please help - i have a feeling that xp is set up worngly somewhere but don't know where!!!! many thanks! mboy

see in file properties if file it's protected or somethin' like that . Using those mp3's during movement ?

Are you trying to play them from a playlist after you move them? If so your media player (winamp windows media player etc) is looking for the files in the place they were when you made the playlist, hope this helps.
