Mouse clicks

I started having this problem a couple days ago. I have to click on most everything 2,3,4,times before it executes. I have run my spyware scans,virus scans, cleanup, nothing fixes it. Has anyone else had this problem? Or knw what it is,and how to correct it. I have used my SBC yahoo spyware cleaner, Ad-aware 2007, and Advanced spyware remover from Inovation solutions. I have removedeverything that is found, any help would be appreciated. I even reinstalled my mouse driver.

Try another mouse. If you do not have access to another mouse reverse the mouse buttons if the right mouse button reacts at one click get another mouse.
