Make 3nd HardDrive Private?

ey guys,

running xp pro... got 2 harddrives...

c:\ is for os etc, d:\ is for downloads bla bla (my documents)

i want to make D:\ private, ie. when guest double clicks it says 'access denied bla bla'


thanks guys, there muyst be a way!

btw, when i went in to properties(for d:\), then the sharing tab, i couldnt select make thisi folder private!

is it NTFS??

you can only make private folders/discs when they are NTFS 😀

you need ntfs for this but all you have to do is on your third hard drive right click and hit properties... then select the security tab and then remove all of the user accounts except for the one you use... or better yet if there is only a few other users add them in and set deny permissions to every thing on that drive
