[mac] Multi-protocol IM Client of choice

Ok, now that Proteus is free, I've seen that many people are using it, and have been for some time. Until now, I was under the impression that everyone simply used Adium.

I'm curious to see what client people are using and more importantly WHY. So vote in the poll, but then please explain in the thread why you think that client is better than another.

As per usual, flaming, bitching and moaning will result in a deleted post and a kick in the face.

I prefer Proteus over Adium simply because Proteus just has a better feel I think. Then again, I used Adium a few eons ago, and then used the standard MSN messenger.

Dun know really, Proteus is also the first client in a while that I have just grabbed, and used. Just because it made sense.
