Lego Starwars II: Original Triology installation error

Just a heads up if your thinking of buying this - it seems as though alot of systems are suffering from the following error when you try and install the game from the disc:

the error 1330.A file that is required cannot be installed becuase the cabinet file E:\ has an invalid digital signature. THis may indicate that the cabinet file is corrupt. Error 3 was returned by WinVerifyTrust.

It seems as though the main culprit is the .msi installer file, as there is a link to a user made patch on the Lucasarts Forums that installs the game properly if you copy the files from the CD to the Hard Drive and then extract the relevant rar file.

Pretty embarassing for a company who usually checks their games for errors like this solidly.

Apparently Lucasarts are working on an installation patch.

Its pretty good when installed though.

This is more than likely down to a damaged gold master disc being used to replicate the silver prints.

They'll probably get a new master made and working silvers out to stores. If you contact LucasArts direct they'll probably hook you up with a replacment or advise how to get one from the store you bought from.

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
