keyboard error

I am asking this for someone else.

He upgraded to WXP, and is getting an intermittant problem with keyboard.It gets stuck in caps mode, regardless of the "caps lock" key. The only way he can get it back to normal is reboot. He said a little window about" filter-keys" popped up.

If you hit the 'shift' key five times the said box will pop up. Have a look & see if there is a setting in there. 😀

The "hit the SHIFT key five times" brings up the sticky key control. Not the filter key control.

Filter keys is in there (I was talking about sticky keys though, long day) but after looking at it I don't think it will help jerenia.

Try this ...control panel/acessibility options applet/ settings for sticky keys section. Uncheck "use short cut" Do the same for filter keys
