I have a 2nd interview for a position called a Technology Specialist. Tomorrow @ 3pm est I am hoping for this job because its what I want to do. Basically it is a network admin position. I am looking forward to the interview and I feel I have a good shot at the job. I need your help in projecting some good thoughts out to help me get the job.

Wish me luck... please.
Thank you !!!

I'll definitely be thinking of you. Good luck!

A piece of advice, however. When they ask for references, I probably wouldn't give names like;

muzikool,
Geffy,
SPeedY_B,

etc. :)

I also might think twice about signing your job offer, "PseudoKiller"!

Let us know how it goes...

ALWAYS wear a tie, no matter what the dress code is.
Make sure to wear black socks, not white.

Those are two things that most managers notice.

Good Luck!

Thanks for all the good thoughts... btw I always wear a suit and tie.

They asked me at the first interview about what sources I use for finding information and I told them 'NTFS.org' the guy quicky wrote it down.
So lets hope it all looks good. :D

For the position I am in now... at the interview they gave me a scenerio and asked me to tell them what I would do. (They basically wanted to know if I would rely on others to find out information.) Unfortunately I did not know if this forum when I started so I couldn't mention it, but my mention of Microsoft's Knowledge Base helped me. The scenerio was something that they spent a month working on about 2 weeks before. I couldn't believe it took them that long. Basically they were trying to NUMLOCK on in Windows. Windows overrides the BIOS settings so it's a REGKEY. I happened to know the exact key (and that helped too) but they still wanted me to "troubleshoot outloud" Resources are important. Without them sometimes you aren't any smarter than the next guy.

Good luck with the interview!

As this was around 30 hours ago, I think the interview may be finished by now. Perhaps they do things differently in the states.
