Ok, just about complete my latest dekstop design

This is V.2 in my line of active desktops... some may remember Version 1 - pretty much follows on from there... got a larger res screen... so was able to fit more stuff on... eventually didn;t find enough.. and bungged on any crap (I.E. the organizer )

anywayz.. comments are always nice... also the source is not for free distro so please dont ask...

Also once I have the Music Player sorted I will see if i can get the time to write up a tutorial

That is by far the best use of active desktop I have ever seen, including mine. You have some very hot items displayed on your desktop such as media and email.

I have a rough version of "Organizer", but I never used it, nor released it because of it needing PHP/mySQL. You did a very nice job displaying it though.

I really like the modifications you made to qnotes. Nice job.

Share your active desktops!!

Hello all,

Maybe a good idea of sharing the shortcuts folders and
the html files we use for making our active desktops..

I moved my shortcut folder to c:\Shortcuts and added the html page in c:\Shortcuts\web, and now the page looks like this:

I added a zip file of these as

http://81.16.164.90/desk.zip

think this is the way of the future.....

ps/ always use a good virus checker!! there are loads of jokers around!! my files are checked and virus free (norton says!).
