iTunes on LAN Server?

im wondering how possible this is...

I want to free up the space my music collection takes up on my iBook (~3GB) by moving all my mp3's and AAC's to my Server... is it possible to put all my files on the linux server and still have itunes play then ok? I am connected via Airport as soon as i log on the iBook so connectivity aren't a problem.

I wonder if WinE'ing iTunes Win32 would work (has built-in rendezvous for easy sharing).. 😀

i dont like Wine so thats not an option.... but good point tho 😉
