I did an erase and install of Tiger and iTunes asked me to authorize my music once I was back up and running. I didn't think about deauthorizing it before the upgrade, but it's still the same computer hardware. Anyone else have this come up?

I haven't looked into Apple's licensing details yet, but I'm wondering if there's anything I can do in the case that my one Mac has been licensed twice. In addition to that, I sold my old PC and forgot to deauthorize it as well. *beats head into wall* :dead:

I'll hold my hands up and say that I have no fecking idea how the iTunes Music Store works, however there's always Hymn and DeDRMS etc.

I believe Apple is fairly nice about de-authorizing/authorizing accounts for you if you email them.

Also unless your going to add another computer the (the limit is 3 right?) I don't see any issues coming from basically having the same computer authorized twice.

limit is 5 afaik

Hrm, i am pretty sure it is 3, they lowered the limit, but upped the amount of times you could burn a play list.

It's 5 right now, because last night I got the message that I had maxed out my authorizations. I think they may have dropped it from 7 to 5.

I don't know that I'll ever need 5 computers authorized at once, but I'd like to have the option. :)

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
