IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL blue screen

i get a IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL blue screen sometimes, once wehn i left the comp on for 2days without rebooting, i also get "page fault- area not paged in cache" or something like that blue screen with that in the spot of "IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL"
i don't know whats causing it!! i have had xp for months and its been fine until now, could it be zone alarm? would it help to just reinstall xp over this installation (I don't want to format) please help, thanks
