I have been very happy with the performance, and more so the stability of Intel branded products. They have easy to use innovative designs brought to life and stand behind them. If this is the case with the new Mac, mebey I will have to give it a go. So far the ideas of a all in one, buy it for the duration with little upgrade option has steered me clear of the Mac following, that and the clear lack of games.

Little upgrade options? Besides upgrading the motherboard and CPU, there is nothing you can not upgrade in the Apple G5's.

Graphics card, Memory, HD's, CD/DVD drives.

Agreed, Mac Mini it is hard, but that is because of it's form factor, same with the iMac, but you can still in the iMac upgrade ram and HD.

As for games, more and and more games are coming out for the mac, I am not a big gamer myself, so that was never a personal hindrance for me.

Motherboard and CPU? So the critical components aren't replaceable. Well, if you want to pay $$$ some are upgradeable.
