Ie6, What The .....

I am running IE6 as my primary browser. here is the problem, when i click to download a file, or open a link my motherboards speaker beens and it will not let me open the page/file. even in my routers page. why is ie6 choosing to hate me?

I'm not sure if it IE6 causing that problem. MOBO beeps? Wierd... I'd check and see if your browser settings are configured properly under - Tools/Internet Options/Advanced/Settings/Browsing

i removed my ISPs software and it works fine now. i thought it was something in there.
