IE searches and searches

I know I've seen this problem before, but I can't seem to find it in a thread anywhere. What is the fix for when you open a folder and Explorer takes time to look for it (flashlight and all)?

Anyone remember this?

Is it a hard drive partition, or a CD / DVD device that causes this???

See if this works:

HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\directory\shell

HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\drive\shell

Set the value for each of these keys to the word: none
