Can someone tell me if i can get rid of 'Microsoft Internet Explorer provided by etelecom' at the top of IE? Is there a tweak somewhere, or something in the registry I could change?

Thanks!!

Backup the registry. Do a search for etelecom & if it is associated with IE get rid of it.
Alternatively you could try repairing IE.

The Microsoft page where i got this from, doesn't say anything about XP, so i'm not 100% sure it will work.

To Remove a Custom Internet Explorer Window Title
Using Registry Editor, delete the following value in the registry:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main\Window Title
When you delete this value, "Microsoft Internet Explorer" becomes the default window title.

Thank you! 🙂
That worked for IE, but I still have the same problem with Outlook Express. I tried looking through the registry, and I tried searching the Microsoft site given above, but no luck. Can anyone help?

This Program will do it ...

Download X-Setup from here ... http://www.xteq.com/products/ it is freeware and IMO the best tweaking app for Windows XP. Once installed navigate to

Internet\Internet Explorer\Appearence\Window Title - that is for IE

Internet\Outlook Express\Appearence\Window Title - for OE
