IE Problem

Hi,

I have Windows XP Pro installed on my computer. I have a very intersting problem. Sometimes, when I am browsing the internet with multiple IE windows, and I try to close one of them, my computer sort of freezes. Basically the start menu and taskbar area freeze up for about 30 sec. I can't click on anything on the start menu area, however, I can click on other icons on the desktop, and go to My computer, etc. After about 30sec. everything is then OK again. The window shuts, and I continue on my way. Just wondering what might be causing this. Plz. Help. Thanks.

How much RAM have you got ?


also what other programs have you got running in the background, I have 512MB ram and usually have about 10 IE windows open, plus winamp and a few other bits and pieces and i havent had that problem yet ............
