is there anyway to get rid of the "to contact me using icq..." message sent with sms'?

go to: (in advanced mode)

main, preferences, sms messages

either unclick the add signature to outgoing messages, or add the signature you want.

nah it's not part of that, it gets added on anyway

sorry i misunderstood..do you mean after you send the message, when its read on the mobile phone that extra message is added to the original?
i wouldnt know, cause i cant send sms's to my particular phone number..bummer. all the other networks in australia work!

there's no setting in icq to change it. whenever I get or send a text with icq it has 'to answer me using icq, click "reply" type your message and "send"'
