Icons on Desktop

is there any way to set the icons on the desktop to be bigger than 32x32, but only those on the desktop - not in the start menu etc as well (this happens if you do it through display properties > appearance > advanced)

I haven't been able to find a way yet. Hoping someone that has figured it out responds to this post. 😉
