How to get rid of information notices in XP

Does anyone know how to get rid/turn off those annoying information notices in XP? you know the ones I mean, eg the one that comes up when you open the start bar an says "There is not enuff room to display all your items on the start bar,either choose smaller icons,or unpin some icons from the start menu"

I think you are talking about balloon tips. If so, there is a registry file that you can download from the download section that will stop those from appearing.

You can try this - not sure if it works:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\
CurrentVersion\Explorer\Advanced
and set the value of ShowInfoTips to 0 (zero). If the dword value ShowInfoTips doesn't exist, create it.

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\TrayNotify and set BalloonTip to 0
