How do make those shadows GO AWAY?

Hi;

This is my first time posting here but I have read posts on this forum extensively and they have helped me so much. I want to get rid of what I think are called "shadows." Let me try and explain. When you put your mouse pointer over let's say the Favorites, it drops a little box that shows everything it says. Or here, if I move my mouse over one of the icons up above it drops down a little box telling me what it is. I hate those things - they get in my way and I just want to make ALL of them go away. Can anyone help...???

Well I kinda figured I'd have to hack the registry. If I knew how I would have done it already... Can you be more specific?

Disable Tool Tips - Start/Run/Regedit
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Advanced. Modify or create, "ShowInfoTip" and set the Value to 0. To restore set the Value to 1. This edit excludes the Start Button.

Disable Balloon Tips - Start/Run/Regedit
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Advanced. Modify or create, "EnableBalloonTips" and set the Value to 0. To restore set the Value to 1.
