at some point in my life I will be getting a laptop and want to use it as a DTR so I will wait til the graphics card segment picks up for the laptop but how awesome is this for everyone's laptop...it's just cool that companies are really starting to look at the components in laptops and realizing that people want better sound like the link I posted about what creative is doing and better graphics...

There are already better PCMCIA solutions available (ECHO) and substantially better USB and Firewire options.

If you want to use a laptop as a DVR just by a USB external TV/Capture device and plug it in. There are several available.

I just hope to some time in the future not have to have a bulky desktop only be able to be used in one place...I would like to watch late nite cinemax while I play cs
