Help!!!

I downloaded a registry file on this websight that was supposed to make my computer start faster. Its called "Prefetcher tweak". Well instead of making my computer go faster, it freezes my whole start menu so i can't access it. I tried to delete the file in REGEDIT, but it comes back after the computer is restarted. Can someone please tell me how to get rid of this file, or do something to keep my menu bar from freezing. Thanx

I am assuming this is the tweak in question:-
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Contro
l\Session Manager\Memory Management\PrefetchParameters\EnablePrefetcher

and make sure the value is set for 3

There is absolutely nothing wrong with this tweak, I use it and so do lots of others.

However if you think this is the problem try changing it back to what it was originally. You made a backup right!

If you forgot to make a backup try double-clicking on
EnablePrefetcher
and put a "0" instead of "3"

I didnt make a back up, and when i set the value to 0 it doesn't stop that menu bar from freezing or saying its busy
