Help with plextor 8/4/32 and nero 5.5.5.x

when burning a cd in nero i get an error sometimes buffer underrun?
can anyone help me with this problem?

Just a question. When you burn, are you creating an image file first?

make sure no apps are open in background especially if you are low on system specs

try lowering speeds

system specs are p3 866 with 384 megs;
no applications are running in background;
and i get the error message with everyhting no matter what im burning

lower the speed and see how it goes
are you usign the same brand cd everytime? if yes, try anothe rbrand... some brands are just cheap.

if nothings running, specs seem fine, and cds are fine... and its failing on any file... you might want to get your writer checked out
