help with ads from Lop.com

I loaded the SereneScreen Aquarium screensaver and now when ever run it i get a ad for lop.com and cheesey search webpage its adware and spy where and i dont know how to get rid of it i have tried adware and that dosent seem to remove it.

I use my Hosts file works great

Go to c:\windows\system32\drivers\etc

Copy the hosts file and paste it on your desktop

open it in Notepad

you will see

127.0.0.1 localhost


Ok

just put this under it

127.0.0.1 www.lop.com

Save it, overwrite the original in c:\windows\system32\drivers\etc and reboot 🙂

Install Ad-Aware (search google to find it) and scan with a fully-updated DAT file and it should find and remove the screenie.
