Help winXp CDR burner doesnt work

I have a big PB

When i try to burn with winXP it does but not when i try to read from the disc i tryed it on other cumputers to but with no result
it doesnt work at all

Have you downloaded all the windows updates regarding cd burners? one of them applied to that problem
