Hi. I had been trying to uninstall a norton product but can't. I had already download the newest uninstaller from symantec and even run symantec's script to remove all temp files left by norton but still when I ran the norton uninstaller, it would show that the uninstaller is expired.
Is there any other way to remove norton?
Thanks.

change your clock back a few months then try and run it again

Norton seems to embed itself quite a bit. If you really want it gone I would format and reinstall windows.

I avoid Norton like the plague.

The only way to uninstall norton is to do a reformat. You will never get rid of it all ...

Thanks for the suggestions. I will try dating back and last resort is to do a reformat.
Any other options are welcome. :)

I helped someone remove Norton once - in the end (they didn't want to re-format for some reason) I think I had to remove most of the registry entries and run one of those 'symantec uninstaller' programs.

How long have you had Norton installed? Can you do a 'system restore' to a point before you had it?

I would still reformat. I don't trust anything that comes from symantec..

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
