Harddrive unallocated

ok sorry if the subject is confusing but after some problems with installing my harddrive, i now have a 35gb capacity drive with 2gb unallocated space. so how could i make that unallocated space part of my 35gb capacity?

you will have to partition it....you'll need a program like partition magic to do it unless u want to destory all the data on the drive.

well like i said, my HD is new, so i have nothing on it yet. so go ahead and plz tell me how to combine them into one partition
