Half Life CD Key In Registry?

Does Anyone know how to get your Half Life cd key out of the registry? I'm going to reformat my computer tomorrow night and I lost my original Half Life CD - which was real - that had a good cd key on it. Anyone Help? Thanx

run regedit: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Valve\Half-Life\Settings and it's under there

You should be able to find it under the lable key

it can also be in [HKEY_USERS\.DEFAULT\Software\Valve\Half-Life\Settings]
