GTA 3 Saved Game Problem

I have been playing GTAIII and I have saved a game that I was pretty far on, then I tried to access it after my computer crashed. and I got the following error. this error happens to every other saved game too! Help

happens after I restared, I created another game, saved and tried again... no good same error, maybe an update?

it worked fine while playing, but now it just will not load the saved games because of the errors

Normally cus u aint got a legal copy. a fix available through the usual sites.
