Grandprix world

hi all,
does anyone know how i can get grandprix world to run under XP. I have already tried the compatibility modes, but the doesnt solve the problem. The game starts up and then just hangs on the startup screen. Also looked for a patch but couldnt find one. So please help me.

Do you mean the old DOS game?
if so try this dos emulator -> http://www.ece.mcgill.ca/~vromas/vdmsound/

well, I wondered why someone would like to play the old dos grandprix anyway

I had grandprix dos version. Thought they were very cool. I had the version with cars and the one with motors. played them all day

In fact I played them too but don't feel like playing them as much now as I used to
Still if you wanna check out old games (older than 1997) go to IRC channel #oldgames on EFNet. You can get lots of stuff from there!
