geotiff images?

I have a geotiff registered satellite image that I want to use as a basemap for some holiday hiking. I am using GPS trackmaker (freeware) http://www.gpstm.com/ to plan my trip and to map the waypoints. However, GPS trackmaker cannot handle geotiff images. In order to be able to register the image, I need the top left and bottom right coordinates of the geotiff image. Does anyone know a program that can handle geotiff images and tell me the top left and bottom right coordinates?
