Does anyone know what it is and what it does? as soon as I deny it access my net viewing goes down. It's also asking for server privalages, which has really got me bothered

It is just what it says the Generic Host Process for win32 services..also known as SVChost It controls all the svchost activities and such which in turn controls the running of XP services. allowing it in/out won't let any bad things in so ya don't have tow orry bout that :)

Ep, glad to see you come back and tidy up...did want to ask a one day favor, I want to enhance my resume , was hoping you could make me administrator for a day, if so, take me right off since I won't be here to do anything, and don't know the slightest about the board, but it would be nice putting "served administrator osnn", if can do, THANKS

Been running around Quora lately, luv it there https://tinyurl.com/ycpxl
