GeForce 4 MX trouble with XP Pro

PLEASE HELP!!!

i've got a Leadtek Winfast GeForce 4 MX 440 and it works fine in windows XP Pro but when i go into something that requires any graphics or somethin, like a game. the computer freezes. i've downloaded the latest drivers for it and it didn't help. could someone please help me!!

try using the nvidia detonator latest driver. scrap the leadtek driver... it may b good but its not worth the crash.

i had the same problem with my v card too the 1st time i installed XP.

Turn off "AGP Fast Writes" in BIOS.

I installed the detonator XP drivers for it but they did the same thing. whats goin on? could it be something wrong with the card or is it software?

Hey again,

yeah "fast writes" was already disabled. i got the new 29.40 beta drivers but it didn't do much. its not the power supply either because i have 300watt. if anyone one else can help please do.
