I think the more likely reason might be that you are logged or cookied in rather then the browser you're using

they don't want hot links so if they are circumventing that with their code I wouldn't think firefox would thwart that strategy

Hey half the time my Cat gets lightly stoned. Through no fault of his own, mostly a contact high. He's funny.
