Fujitsu USB Modem much slower under XP ??

Just signed up to Pipex ADSL which included the Fujitsu FDX 310 modem. Had problems which I initially put down to Pipex, but today I thought I'd give it a go under Win98, and its been a dream!

Just gone back into XP & its nowhere near as quicj (10KB/s as opposed to about 40 under 98). Any ideas ? (Using Asus K7V + Athlon 800 if that helps)

Did you make sure to goto a site like dslreports and run their tweak test to make sure you are tweaked correctly (mss, Rwin, etc)

I'll give that a go (no idea what mss & rwin are, he said in complete ignorance 🙂 )
