New job (which I love btw, despite how the rest of this sounds) uses the Fortinet firewall. Its good, I guess, except for one thing. If a user takes a laptop off site, it throws on a very restrictive filter. The filter should automatically be removed once they get back onsite. Usually it does, out of 400 possible failures it only stays locked down on maybe 10 a day. The real problem is those 10 seem to only be able to be unlocked with a reformat. The image we use is MASSIVE and it takes around 2 hours per machine to do. I can do multiples, but I'd like to do ... say .. zero. Anyone know why its doing this or a way to stop it or better way to unlock it other than reformat?
