Force XP to use driver

I have a laptop with a New Media PCMCIA NIC. I haven't found an XP or W2K driver for it, but I was able to use the Netgear FA410 driver with W2K (same actual unit). XP reads the manufacturer stamp and refuses to let me load an alternate driver. Any ideas on how I can get around this? (I know-break down and buy a new card-but I'm cheap)

yeah I doubt you'll be able to do it...epsecially if on top of the brands not matching that netgear driver being 2k, thats a double whammy..sorry man

Ep, glad to see you come back and tidy up...did want to ask a one day favor, I want to enhance my resume , was hoping you could make me administrator for a day, if so, take me right off since I won't be here to do anything, and don't know the slightest about the board, but it would be nice putting "served administrator osnn", if can do, THANKS
