Firefox Add-ons challenge

Hello all!

Firstly, I must admit my addiction to Firefox - i have many bits and pieces that I use aka extensions/add-ons.

This is my TOP 10:
Forecast
gDocsBar
FoxyTunes
FireFTP
Google Notebook
PicLens
meebo
WebMail Notifier
Twitbin
Zotero

But there's always time to discover new ones :) so this is why I'm asking you, if you use Firefox, which add-ons are your favorites?

Hi,

I am more of a web developer, and I love

Web Developer
Firebug
Google Notebook
Fire uploader

cyber and genach13:

can you provide links and/or descriptions for the plugins you guys use?

Thanks.

Adblock Plus - block adds
DownloadHelper - downloads streaming videos and other links you clicked on
Foxmarks - multiple computer bookmark synchronizer
Open Download - run .exe files from Firefox
Right-click Link - Click links that're not hyperlinks
Update Scanner - searces pages for updates (useful if they don't provide RSS or Atom)

I will provide links to them in a bit.
I have those addons on every computer. Can't function properly without them :D

thanks guys.. just trying to help you guys create more valuable posts as I'm assuming most of you found your way here due to the contest :)

Sky: when you come back for the links, you can edit your existing post to put them in.

I found the IE tab to be very useful. Unfortunately it hasn't been updated to support Firefox 2.

IE Tab works with Firefox 1.5 through 3.0beta3

What makes you think it doesn't support Firefox 2?

Hi there: Didn't know there were so many FF addons, the only one I use is the smiley addon :)-

Between work and personal servers, desktops, notebooks, internet tablets and phones, I access the Web from any number of browsers, OSes and devices on a given day. I decided long ago that anywhere, any-device access trumps my privacy paranoia for most of my data, and with reasonable precautions the list of exceptions continues to shrink. My bookmark and RSS feed collections were among the first casualties here.

Digg and del.icio.us might have larger communities, but in my experience Google Bookmarks/Reader plugins are more ubiquitous across browsers and devices. For Firefox this makes GMarks and/or Google Bookmarks Button one of my first installed add-ons.

BlogRovr
is not only one of those clever ideas I wish I had come up with, but its implementation is also fantastic. In exchange for letting blogrovr.com know what blogs you read and trust, and (when the add-on toolbar button is enabled) what URLs you're visiting in your current session, you'll get notified as you surf when a page or site you're visiting was blogged about by someone who's opinion you care about, with a chance to read that entry without leaving your current page.

Add-ons that tweak colors and settings are great, but add-ons like BlogRovr (and the already-mentioned Adblock Plus and Stylish) enhance the content being browsed, and therefore make Firefox my surfing/research/development browser of choice

There are over 1000's of addons, my list is a bit over the top, even though I use each one almost every day, most people would not. But I do have most of the common ones people do use.

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
