Firefox 3 Vulnerability Found

Well, give it up..you Windows XP or Vista PC might be sitting on more bugs and flaws than the FF3 browser.

I said back to the drawing board, not end of the world.

They havn't fixed it yet, also affects FF 2 so I imagine it's a piece or module that was not changed moving towards FF 3. If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

Some people would argue the world was made on a drawing board...

Now now apples and oranges. Lets not forget firefox works on more than one OS

Good point Aprox.

My tone - will probably always generate some noise. I will try to adjust, I've been trying for quite some time now. My apologies for sounding the alarms.

That out of the way, for a point of discussion, does anybody realize that FF since it's release has had more vulnerabilities than IE over the period?

I use both browsers for all kinds of different reasons - and I enjoy them both. I use regmon alot when I browse to unusual places - helps minimize damage, and encourages me to understand the registry better.

Generating noise is better than not being heard at all :) Good to see you around again.

I read the same day another exploit is "in the works" also. :) But yeah all software has bugs/exploits, it's how the developer(s) respond that makes the product worthy of use or not.

oh dear, you mean now they've bent the drawing board? Maybe thats what the great flood was, the soaking of the drawing board to make it bendable.

Wow, here let me try some regex on this thread, then you can tell me if the thread still makes sense

First one:
s/FireFox/Safari/

Second one:

s/FireFox/Mac OS X/

Third one:

s/FireFox/Windows Vista/

Notice how this thread is structured like all the other threads? There are the apologetic, and the haters.

I just now realized the reason that people hate certain products or companies is because they are afraid that the other persons product may actually be better than what their flavour of choice has to offer. It is the fear that they may have been suckered into buying or doing something that may not have been the best choice.

Hey, I'm all for a product that works. If it is better than the item I am using ATM fine. But if I like the item/product/program that I use more than the better I would probably still use it, if it were somewhat close to the better one. But if this new program/item/product is way better, you damn skippy I will use it. Well if it's free, or somewhat cheap. :D

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
