Everquest Dosent Work

I recently bought a new laptop computer with windows xp. I have Everquest on another desktop computer with windows ME. It works fine on that. Then when i started to play it the right side of the screen got all distorted and the size of the screen was much smaller. I thought xp was much better. But this just goes to show you that its not. Why would they even release a program if it had many bugs. But if anyone has any answers or suggestions to my problem please reply because ive tried everything.

Have you updated all your Hardware drivers

Have you gone to windows UPdate and grabbed the patches ?

yes i tried all of that and the compatability wizard it still dosent work
