Yes we can and should but its some of the comments that realy make me laugh, I mean everyone aggrees that England has not hit its pace, has not played the way "we" want them too, but fact is they are a perfect 2-0 . Its easy to only point out the bad points in anything.
England played T&T and Paraguay. Both teams, at full strength, are no where near the level England are so it is easy to point out the bad spots and hope they are corrected.
England lacks creativity. Rooney is looked on as being a savior and he could well be, but the team itself needs to create.
Like I said, Gerrard dominated the local scene in England and led Liverpool very ably from midfield. Why Sven doesn't use him in a similar role for England is beyond me.
Did anyone watch the Brazil game gonna tell me they looked like the gang that would rule this cup? They did not look like nothing special
Brazil's opponents were hell-bent on defense. Did you see the number of players on the two R's up front? It's a wonder they got a touch.
The Czech team looks dangerous
They are good, everyone knows that.
Ecuador can be tricky they beat both Brazil and Argentina in games to get here ......
Both those teams fielded under-strength teams, but Equador is one of the dark-horses. On their day, they can beat almost anyone.
there is more but we will see how things work out , I wonder who England will face home team Germany or Ecuador mmmmmmm wonder wonder
I am leaning to England meets Germany what a shame its gonna be so early in the tournament
England will need to be more creative, Germany has a good midfield and they have much better/in-form strikers than England at the moment. Klose is in ridiculous form. But overall it would be pretty evenly matched.
