I have a Dell 8200 with Windows XP-Home- was factory installed until I just reinstalled Windows XP to get my "Help & Suppot" function back. How can I eliminate the "User Name Log On" screen appearing everytime I start my PC or reboot it? I am the only one that uses my PC.

Thank you

Andrew

Use TweakUI and automatically log on.
Tweakui is part of the XP Powertools.

I've found that when u clean install the WinXP OS, just dont put a password in and hit next, and you will never get the log on screen....

Deleted the Sign In Screen

What I finally did was go to Control Panel --> User Accounts and in the Options for User Accounts there was a delete option, which cleared up the problem.
Thank you all for your help
