e-mail on logon screen

for some reason i don`t get the e-mail shown on the logon screen !
It is even enabled in TweakUI (powertoys) !

Why ??

What client are you using for E-mail..there was a fix released recently to let outlook update the reg setting it looks at. outlook express works to show it, as does AOL and MSN..but if your using anything else it won't come up methinks.

I have got Outlook Express and Windows Messenger !
This is my second installation because when I first installed it (upgrade), things did not work properly but at that time the e-mails on the log on screen came. Now I have a perfect installation and the e-mails don`t come !!!!!

Why ?
