Well, there is a slight twitch. Supposing you have one primary FAT32 partition and one extended (can be FAT32 or NTFS). By far the easiest is to do a clean install of Win98 and then WinXP. Yes, you can use fixboot from the Recovery Console, but probably WinXP is already installed. If that's on an NTFS partition there is no way you will get Win98 to boot from there. And it won't boot from an extended partition either, so either way, it's easier to do a clean install. Leaving XP and installing Win98 second requires some extra skills to get it working.
