exactly. it's a shame microsoft limited the 3rd-party controller drivers to floppies only during install. you should be able to specify a location. i don't get it.
just about every other use for a floppy i can think of can be adapted to cd.

I for one, on the 5 machines in my place, have floppies in each of them, although non of them are used. I like to put them in the machine being they have become nostalgic. They are cheap too. It is like it has been previously said, if you need to transport something that can fit on a floppy, you could email it to yourself much easier, let alone setting up ftp. With alll the forms of bootable media out there, one would believe the age of the floppy has died, hell, i can remember when those 3.5" disks were called Hard disks. Seeing how all my much unneeded hard drive utilities came on cd's and how partition magic is a joke anyways, and norton stuff can be burned on cd, floppies are useless. Unless you keep them in there cause you have a problem like i do not seeing one, cause they are nostalgic.

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
