I have used DirectCD in the past. I seldom need to view any of the old stuff I have archived using it but it comes up now and then. I have no wish to reinstall EZCD or DirectCD. I have other software that works better for my purposes and, anyway, some of the problems people report in getting EZCD to work seem well worth avoiding. I would like to read those old cds though. Does anyone know if Adaptec's UDF Reader is XP compatible or if it exists in a compatible version and, if so, where I can find it? Anything that would allow me to read packet written cds would be just as good.

Thanks.

linux does it

Red Hat Linux contains the necessary readers. I have still been unable to find any XP compatible version of UDF Reader and I would be glad to get one. People who haven't got Linux installed and who don't want to monkey with DirectCD (who would?) will be doubly glad to get one. Give a yell if you know anything that will allow me to read packet written discs in XP without installing DirectCD.

Thanks.

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
