ok i installed direct x 8.1 and i had 8.0 before , how do i got back to 8.0? anyone?

how do i uninstall direct x

yeah if i download it it doesn't go over the top , i tried but it just says directx 8.1 in dxdiag. so how do i go back to 8.0 ?

1. I thought XP came with DX 8.1 anyway?

2. You can't downgrade DX (by normal means anyhow) according to MS. You might find dodgy tools out there that'll do it for you, but I see no reason to downgrade.
