Dial-Up Connection

Just wondering how I can stop the little "speech bubbly" box thing coming up next to the 2 little computer icons in the system tray, everytime I connect to the Internet. It says something like 'Connected to (ISP) at (Speed)'. Its starting to get on my nerves. 😡

These steps disable all Notification Area balloon tips for this user. There is no way to disable balloon tips for specific programs only.

Thanks for the replies! I actually figured it out for myself in the end 😉 I went to the registry and added EnableBalloonTips and put the value at zero....it worked 🙂 I still have the little balloon things, eg. hovering over the Start menu and it says 'Click here to begin' and where I want them. But no more balloon tips on my dial-up connect and when I go to shut down.
