Is there a way to add items to the context menu on the desktop?
are there any program or registry settings that can do it?

The easiest way is with a 3rd party program. Do a search on CNET and you should find several shareware & freeware utilities that meet your needs.

can you find any program from those sites which can edit items in the DESKTOP context (right click) menu?

i told you i've already searched the download sites and search engines with no luck. the closest i can get are programs which edit the explorer context menu.

Ep, glad to see you come back and tidy up...did want to ask a one day favor, I want to enhance my resume , was hoping you could make me administrator for a day, if so, take me right off since I won't be here to do anything, and don't know the slightest about the board, but it would be nice putting "served administrator osnn", if can do, THANKS

Been running around Quora lately, luv it there https://tinyurl.com/ycpxl
